Been To Big Bend State Park?
For Spring break, I am thinking of going to Big Bend State park in Texas. I wish I could take my Rv. What do you think? What do you recommend?
And if you can recommend lodging (Like cedar or log cabins nestled up in the hills) what do you suggest?
Give me names, links –whatever you have that would help in my search for fu stay at a Texas National Park
Hurry!!!!!!! LOL
You CAN take your RV. http://www.nps.gov/bibe/planyourvisit/rgv_hookups.htm

There is also the Chisos Mountain Lodge. Rooms are adequate. No tv, no phone, but that's kinda the point. Some outstanding views. The restaurant when I was there was unimpressive but had a great view.
There are TONS of great trails and backcountry roads. Ask the rangers about their favorites, they'll tell you about some hidden or less popular gems.

When hiking, be aware of where you are and the proximity to the border.
