If I read a book or magazine while taking a dump, will it become a permanent source of bacterial growth?
I'm serious. I read my favorite book a couple times while taking a dump, and now it just seems kinda "dirty". I didn't drop it in or anything, in fact I wiped the outside with bacterial spray and it just feels the same. Should I just buy a new one?
Studies have shown that when a toilet flushes, minute drops of the toilet water are splashed from the toilet. I'm very serious about this. That's why toothbrushes and other articles should not be near the toilet. So if you had the book in the bathroom when you flushed, or if you touched the book before washing your hands after dumping, then it could have bacteria on it. However, the bacteria will die after awhile.
There is little more disgusting than sitting in a stinky bathroom reading. I don't understand why people do that. BLECH!
