For our Soldiers( I said Marines cuz my Dad is one, but this if for all of our country men and woman?
TO ALL YOU
To all you far away in a land thats not our own,
I send a prayer up past the stars.
Soon if the time be right and my prayers be just in time
God will bring you all back home.
To all you men and woman that willingly leave,
to all you who put your lives on the line,
I lift my hand in a solute.
To all you who leave loved ones,
who leave so many things behind to serve
I look at our country's flag for you.
I breathe another silent prayer for when the time
comes and its my turn to serve I will have the
courage of a marine.
I pray that if I am called on to lead I will have the strength
to stand up with pride and fight for all that I believe.
Yes, I pray that I will have the courage and strength
to fight for the USA.
As the daughter of a Marine, and mother of an ex-Marine...
