Rifle Scopes, Leapers, Vortex, NcStar, Osprey?
What do you think of these brands. Which do you think is a better quality scope?

When I ask this question, I mainly mean between those 4 brands, or other brands/scopes that are along the $100-$200 price range.
Im looking for a scope for my AR-15. 5.56x45
I do 300 yards with it, so I need something that has decent power
I agree with the others. I would like to say I took a "Leapers" 4-12x40 to Iraq as a range toy. By that I mean that I put it on at the range and had some fun. I did not trust my life to it in the street. For that we were issed an EOTech, Aimpoint, or ACOG. The Leapers was fun and performed suprisingly well...from what I hear I got lucky. It was all good until an up-armored humvee door ate my scope...crushed it like a can o' pringles. fun while it lasted. Zeroed, held and was a good off-the-rifle spotting scope for IED's. I do advise you spend the extra coin and get something good...dont trust your life or your quarry to the lowest bidder. Trying to save a dime will spend you a dollar everytime. And remember kids P.T. Barnum said "There is a sucker born every minute."
Hope this helps.
