I bought a Moultrie Game Spy I-40 trail cam.....?
i want an external power supply for my new I-40 and i have an old cable that goes to a scanner i think,but it does convert to 12 volt wich will operate the cam if plugged to the wall,would it be ok to splice the cables and attach them to a 12 volt car battery,this way i dont have to buy new d-cell batteries every week or so??????i would just go solar but they do not make a panel for this cam.i have heard of people doing this but not with my model camera.
I not sure if that will wotk but I know how exspensive batteries can be ..try buying 2 sets of rechargable batteries..Just a thought
