Scope rings don't get tight on the base. AR15 Kwik site brand?
I bought a kwik sight mount that came with rings. The mount is nice, i like how high above the iron sights are. I put on the mount and then went to put on the rings and the bases to the rings are very loose. They don't tighten down like some bases do. I only put it all together to check it's clearance in my case. The scope isn't in the rings. Would that make a difference? This is the first time i've ever had rings that were loose. Should i just buy another set of rings for it?

I build match AR's - seen this before. Allot.
The reason the rings are loose - you do not have them seated correctly to the base. These things need a bit of 'wiggle fitting' before they drop into positon - especially the part on the opposit side of the thumbscrew. The cheaper the base and mounts - the more effort it takes to push them in. These are the cheapest that they make.
