4in scope mount on an m44 mosin nagant?
i just attached this mount on my mosin and after adjusting the front screw (not the one that goes through the orginal sight, the one in front of it to tighten it to the base of the rifle), it is secure and does not move whatsoever when manually trying to move it. does it stay in place overall, or does the whole mount start to loosen after firing it?
Not all of them start to get lose over time, depends on what brand you bought. If you bought an S&K scope mount that is about $70, it wont ever shoot loose. If you bought a mount for like $20, it will loosen up pretty fast.
