Do you know about Muslims snipers terrorists that use telescopic sight rifles to knock down airplanes?
According to a rumor, that I heard, snipers sighting to turbines, glass of windows [when it break, depressurize the plane and it can fall]. With telescopic sights, they get hitting inclusively the pilot cabin, even on night [using Night Vision sight]. However, how heard that glass of planes are bulletproof, no believe (a lot) it. In relation to shot on turbine then I am worried!
If a bullet would be the cause of fall of plane, how do police, CSI, ballistic, can discover it and who is guilty? In theory, to case with sniper at many miles of distance of target, how do find the sniper(s)? If the plane fall in water or explode, find little bullet in big plane may be look for a needle in a haystack; to find a bullet under water or in remains of explosion is complicated.
In WW2 a P-51 had 6 50 cals and it still was considered lightly armed when shooting down another plane.
There is no magic bullet, unless you kill the pilot on takeoff and that has to be one heck of a shot
