Teen survey ~ Where do you stand on gun rights?
1. You think guns should be banned for individuals who are not in careers of authority. By this I mean the general public should have no rights to own guns, and owning guns in wrong. (Democratic view generally)
2. You think gun rights should stay the same (Republican View)
Personally, I think guns should stay the same. I spend a lot of time at the shooting range. I always am safe when shooting.
Also, a gun is good to have in the case of self defense. In the case of protecting your home, your body, your personal property, a gun can also be useful.
What do you think?
BQ ~ How do you feel about socialized health care? (AKA Obamacare)
Personally, I HATE socialized medicine. Do you LIKE a bunch of illegals in the doctors office muching off tax funds? Do you LIKE waiting 6 months for vital surgery's?
I think you would be crazy to want that lol
Well, I'm a gun freak. So you should probably know what I think. I just think that to buy a gun you just need to bring a driver's license, proof of citizenship, and a copy of your criminal record. Violent criminal history should be a disqualification of purchasing a firearm. I think when a police officer pulls someone over who has a gun in the vehicle, they should make sure that gun matches its owner. That should keep guns out of bad hands. If it does, then have a good day. If it doesn't, then it should be confiscated and the original owner whose name it's under should be notified. I think guns, like cars, should stay in the owner's name who carries it. That way a once legally purchased gun, that was traded off, doesn't end up in some psycho's hands. This benefits the gun owning law abiding citizens and threatens criminals, I think. If you like to trade guns..and Lord knows I do...but it's pretty much always between me and my dad... then it should be just like a car....both parties should go to the courthouse and have it notarized....kinda like a car title...but for a gun. This isn't really gun control...it's just treating guns like cars...making sure the gun is a match to who's carrying it. Oh, and I don't think you should need a CCW to conceal carry. I think it should go with qualifying for a pistol permit instead.
