animal foot trap?
i have this old foot trap and i do not know how to set it.. i know that you step on the sides of it to make it go down but i dont know what your suppose to do after that.. it also has this chain on it that is about a foot long i don't know what that is for either.. can some one tell me how to set this this so i can try to catch me somethin
i found it in my grandfathers shop
Step on the sides, the jaws open, lift the trigger (that round thing in the middle) There should be a little lever that you put into a slot or hole (like a mouse trap). The chain is to stake your trap down so the animal doesn't drag it off.
