Defensive handgun choice: sig sauer P226/9, glock 19 or H&K USP compact?
I've been looking around for a handgun that will be easily concealed and also pack enough punch when needed. I already have a beretta 92 and 357S&W which are fine for home, but a bit big to carry. Does anyone have any experience of these other weapons or any other suggestions? Many thanks
out of those you have listed, i'd probably choose the sig, unless you are really wanting a glock. i personally don't care for glocks unless you are in law enforcement.
if you are worried about the cost, a slightly cheaper alternative would be the ruger sr9c, which has a 10 round and an extended 17 round clip.
if cost isn't really an obstacle, perhaps a beretta px4 storm would suffice--they make something like 3 different sizes, regular, compact, and subcompact, and it comes in a few different calibers and options.
and the final handgun i will suggest would be the springfield xd, which has different calibers and sizes as well.
I think all of those mentioned by both you and myself would more than be reliable for any of your carry situation needs. Your only obstacle is you. Now you must decide which one you would feel most comfortable shooting.
