What are the best .177 pellets to buy for a CO2 pistol with an 8-shot rotary disc?
Please only answer if you have owned one of the following CO2 pistols with the disc- I don't want to be putting in dodgy ones or the wrong type that'll jam and mess up my new £180 (US$270) gun:
Walther CPSport
Walther CP99
Walther CP88
Walther CP88 Tactical
Walther NightHawk
Walther Red Storm
Walther Red Storm Recon
Walther Lever Action CO2 Rifle
Magnum Research Desert Eagle
Colt 1911 A1
Colt 1911 A1 Tactical
Beretta M 92 FS
I would best like high velocity and penetration, thanks!
Whenever you're talking about airguns (pellet guns), you should get the pellets that are most accurate in your gun. The reason is that the differences in terminal performance (impact velocity, expansion, penetration) will be minor. Its more important to be able to accurately place your pellet than it is to have a minor difference in terminal performance.
As far as what will be most accurate and function best in your gun, the only way you'll know that is to try a bunch of different kinds of pellets since each gun is for all intents and purposes a law unto itself regarding accuracy.
