Is it OK to wear a plain black undershirt with a light grey, beige, or other light colored dress shirt?
This is to work ONLY and we have a business casual policy, so no ties and 1 or 2 buttons opened at the top. (Assume it isn't summer and it is not so warm outside.) My wife said it doesn't look right, but to me it looks just fine. You can basically see a little black from where the button is open at the top, but it doesn't shine through the actual shirt.
I don't mean to ask if it's OK according to business casual policies, more along the lines of fashionably correct... (basically, black undershirt with a light dress shirt)
Yes as long as the colours seem ok, a light grey wouldnt work but a darker one would for instance. Just try colours out and see what works!
