Help me perfect my summer dieting plan?
Every summer I work extra hard to get in better shape while the weather is nice. For exercise, i'm a pretty avid cyclist and bike for 2 hours a day (30 miles or so) 4-5 days a week. That should be a lot of cals. I've been staying light for lunch, maybe just a can of progresso or campbells chunky soup or turkey sandwhich or both together. For dinner, I just have whatever, but nothing too unhealthy with an occasional sweet treat for dessert. Some snacks later at night (i stay up til 2am usually) such as whole grain goldfish or lean pockets made with whole grain. My problem is, I drink a ton of diet pop and it would be hard for me to stop. In fact, on some days pop might be the only thing i'll drink (besides water during biking). According to the scale, i've lost maybe 5-10lbs in maybe the last month or so, but it's funny that I really can't feel it or see it in myself. Is that normal? Any other tips or ideas for me to improve? Thanks!
Stop drinking diet sodas or suffer the consequences. You have been warned. It is bad, but much better to drink soda with tons of sugar in it.
