What length is the M4 hand guard?
I have a bushy M4 type carbine. I would like to get quad rails for it but I don't know what length to get. I have the 16 inch barrel (15 something with the suppressor). And I'm going with Daniel's Defense (if the length is right). Thanks.

a carbine length gas system w/ a fixed front sight needs a 7" rail
a carbine length gas system w/ a low profile gas block needs at least a 8" rail (IMO you might as well just go w/ a 9") to cover the gas block
the same applies with a middle length gas system, except the numbers are now 9" and 10" (preferably 12")
