What brand and model of goggles is very good for racing, and compatible with a swim cap?
The speedo hydrospex goggles that I currently use are not that streamlined, so they seem to come off while I use a swim cap. I want a comfortable pair that is designed for high swim speed.
What the hell Katie, now I have to work just as hard to find out what those goggles are called.
I have tried many different types but the best ones I have used are Speedo.
I would go for either the Vanquishers or SpeedSockets (this is the one in the picture posted py 'Katie').
Vanquishers are REALLY comfortable and have great plastic seal that will never leak. They also come in a range of colours if you care about looks.
SpeedSockets are still comfortable but sometimes hurt after a bit. The seal on these goggles is amazing. They will not leak. They are also a better racing goggle. The fastest (most streamlined) in the world. Number one choice of most of the worlds best (Michael Phelps etc...)
SpeedSockets are around $10-$20 more expensive than Vanquishers.
I own a pair of both and honestly I couldn't pick between them. It's really just individuale preference; Comfy (Vanquishers) or super streamlined (SpeedSockets)
Neither of them will come off diving in guaranteed!
