How do I make a home made trap for rats, squirrels, weasels or otherwise?
I'd like to make a home made weasel trap. I want a trap that doesn't kill the weasels, but at the same time traps them. Like a tomahawk trap, but home made. With wood, wire mesh or otherwise.

a figure 4 box trap is simplest but most critters will dig their way out pretty quickly.
heres the instructions. just let the edge of the top angled stick hold up whatever box you use instead of holding up a heavy rock like the one in the illustration does.

you can make these any size & as sensitive as you want. I once used some straight 1/4 inch sticks & a milk crate to trap 3 starlings next to a dumpster & put them in a co workers desk drawer.
