Long eye relief scope for a mosin nagant M38?
I've got a M38 Mosin Nagant Rifle. I bought and mounted a scope mount in the scout position. Any one have this rifle in that same position , and how many inches of eye relief do you have? I'm looking to buy a inexpensive scope that will not knock me in the eye. Thanks!
If you want to waste money & equipment putting a hot-rod engine in a worn-out junk jalopy, both Leupold and Nikon make exellent LER 'scopes, but no commie war-surplus piece could come close to having the accuracy to match the optics these outfits manufacture.
I have used both on my FN and H-K, either of which will shoot rings around ANY Russki antique bolt-gun.
