Is it cheaper to by ammo or read right now?
I might get a MEC 650 Reloader for Christmas but need to know if it is worth the money. I go skeet and trap shooting every 2 to 3 weeks, and I pay $7 for a box of 25 shells and shoot about 4 boxes. I have heard gun powder and the pellets are expensive right now. What is the better value, paying $7 a box or reloading myself?
Well I would just 1st buy a box of shells that are good for reloading and after shooting those I would reload them. I was told the materials (i.e. primers, pellets, and gun powder) will cost me more than paying $7 a box when I go. I know way down the road it will be cheaper but in a year period I'm trying to figure out what is cheaper. On top of it, I'm not sure all of the materials I need, so if you can tell me what I need to get, maybe I can compare prices
Hmh. Well, currently I think reading is the cheapest option. (see title) However, I suppose if you buy the raw materials to make your own shells (i THINK that is what you are asking) in bulk, it would be cheaper.
