Air Rifle scope for hunting (experienced hunters answers preferred).?
Hi, I'm pretty new to hunting, just started it this year. My first gun was a springer, still love it but i'm enjoying shooting with my hornet .22 more. I'm after a new scope for hunting, something very realiable that won't lose zero, easy to adjust but has protective caps over the turrets so the adjustments cant be made by accidental knocks.
I'm looking for something with IR Mil-dot ret, with AO, PX adj, good light trans. for low lighting conditions (evenings without lamp and just before sunrise again without lamp). I need something with a decent zoom but not over the top. I'd be happy with 4-9X50, 4-12X50 or 4-16X50. I'd consider 40mm obj lens if the light trans is very good.
Now the tricky part. I want all of that for around £50.
I've heard Bushnell are pretty good but i haven't been able to find one with all the above,
So...Could some experienced hunters recommend some good scopes that fit the above for around £50?
Cheers.

You can get a very nice Leapers 3-9x50 for $59.90 >This one has very nice specs. >AND is actually an air rifle scope.
Or try the NcStar 3-12x50 IR Mil-Dot for $75

>>Experienced hunters answers preferred<< I take it you mean someone who actually knows the difference between an airgun scope and a firearms scope.
The suggestions to place a high quality rifle scope(or any firearm scope for that matter) on a "spring piston" air rifle are ignorant of the differences.
For those that DON'T understand the difference

Take a look at Air Force scopes, they have several models in your price range and with your specs.
