Would you rather depend on a revolver over a semi-auto as a CCW?
I think I could trust a revolver more, in it's operation over a semi-auto. I don't really trust the mechanic ability of a magazine (or clip) The cylinder on a revolver is almost fool proof and seems it would be way more trust worthy once you find a good cartridge to use.
I go back and forth between a S&W 438 and a SIG P238 usually. I have others, but these two are the regular EDC rotation. My other carry guns are 'mission specific', as in a day i know i will be carrying a quantity of cash, a tough to conceal situation, etc.
If you maintain a semi auto weekly (as you should any daily carry gun) and its a reliable brand, i feel perfectly comfortable depending on it, as long as you know your gun and have put plenty of rounds through it.
