Nikon Monarch 3-12x, 42mm or the Nikon Monarch 2.5-10x, 42mm?
I need a scope for my 7mm Rem Mag remington model 700 BDL. This rifle will be mainly used on Whitetail, Moose, and Caribou. The odd Black bear, but i usually use my 30-30 win or 30-06 on blackbear. Shots usually no shorter then 50 yards with the average shot around 100-200 yards. Even the odd coyote here and there. I think the 3-12, 42 mm might be better and im getting the BDC recticle. What do you think??
Yea..3x12x42..little more range ablity and won't make a difference on 3x at close range. Good choice.
