Can I put a shock proof rifle scope on a beeman 1000 series (1000fps break barrel) pellet gun?
Someone told me that the recoil on the 1000fps pellet guns damages any rifle scope thats not made for that certain gun, but I find it hard to beleave. Does anyone have a beeman pallet gun with a .22 cal or any rifle scope mounted, and does the recoil throw off the scope? Also if you have a gun like that what does the accurcy do. Thanks
The simple solution is to buy an air rifle scope. A spring piston airgun will destroy a "regular" firearm scope.
I have a Beeman FWB-124D with a Simmons air rifle scope, this combination has served me well for over 20 years.
