looking for information on a vintage weaver rifle scope model no. 2949816 k4 60c?
K4 is the model class, which tells us it's a fixed power 4x scope.
Made mid-20th century on and it's still made today.
The vintage Weavers made in El Paso, TX (it should say so on the scope tube) are some of the best American scopes ever made. If it doesn't say El Paso, it's made in Asia after Mr. Weaver died in 1974 and the brand was sold to a succession of corporations with variable, although still respectable, quality.
I have tried to search for some Weaver Collector's website on the net but was unsuccessful, but maybe you will have better luck than me.
