What is the Best weapon combo on Halo out of...?
Battle Rifle-sniper rifle
Assult rifle-Sword
Battle rifle-Rocket launcher
assult rifle- shotgun
battle rifle-Spartan laser
it depends on your skill level with each weapon. though even beginner halo players should be able to experience mild success with each of these combos. in reality this list comes down to two weapons battle rifle and assault rifle.
the Battle rifle takes slightly more skill to master. while the assault rifle more or less means point>shoot>melee. battle rifles can hit long range and also within 5 shots you can take a person down. if you do all headshots. i personally prefer the BR. i play ALOT of swat and therefore headshots are always natural to me. the distance is also a plus. i regard the AR as more or less the bottom line close range weapon. its boring and most people with BRs can take you out easy.
then you get the sword shotgun comparison. shotgun...usually beats sword. but the sword has an amazing lunge that can kill people a ridiculous amount of distance away. shotguns are a little less effective at that extent...but more maps have shotgun than sword.
rocket launcher vs laser. both require skill...but the laser requires alot more skill. the laser is more pinpoint and less splash damage. so if you miss...too bad so sad hope you dont get killed now that people know where you are. rockets...u can aim at the ground near a person and kill them. but against the vehicles...rockets miss more often due to flight time of the rocket and even if it hits...it wont always kill. a spartan laser can take out vehicles instantly. that EVERY vehicle. even tanks. theres soft spots on tanks and wraiths that if you hit with a laser instant kill.
Me personally i'd take BR Shotgun. both are common weapons, its balanced and both are easy to use. but again...its up to you.
