Can I buy Airsoft Guns/Pistols with a Pistol license/Shotgun Rifle License?
My father is a security specialist who works for armored truck companies as a security consultant. He wants to buy Airsoft "weapons" to use as models for when he shows what real firearms would best be suited for the buyer but he doesn't want to have to buy an Airsoft license because he has actual firearm
licenses. Is it possible to buy Airsoft guns if you have legal firearm licenses?
Thats true thank for the info what I forgot to mention is that we live in New York City and the gun control laws are very strict I'm sorry I forgot mention that.
Airsoft guns are considered toys anywhere in the US. If he's looking for guns for practical application and situational demonstration, I'd recommend full metal guns (ie http://www.airsplat.com/Items/ERM-AGM-M16-033.htm or http://www.airsplat.com/Items/GP-BEL-1911-728.htm) since they have been designed to mimic the exact dimensions and weight of real fire arms.
