I picked up a pistol with an eotech holosight, and love it. however...?
I see that they are more often used on rifles. I wanted to pick one up for my guide gun and found that they are quite expencive. Are some of these cheaper similar sights as good. I'm in alaska and need somthing rugged and reliable
The eotech is an awesome holographic sight. I have one on my ar15, and it is deadly accurate,as well the follow up shots are real quick. I would not use any other brand than eotech for your firearm. The eotech line is used by military and law enforcement for a reason, and it is way supperior than the other brands. Like said, if in the market for red dot, go aimpoint.
