Is there a sight mount that converts Weaver to Dovetail?
I'm trying to mount a Red Dot Sight on my rifle, but it has Weaver rails. My Red Dot has 3/8 Dovetail. I need an offset mount that will latch onto Weaver rails, but will allow the mounting of 3/8 Dovetail. Any Suggestions?
It is a standard 30mm BSA, and does not have rings. Instead, the Dovetail mounts is directly connected to the bottom of the sight, meaning it cannot be removed.
Does your red dot have a standard sized outer tube? If so, your easiest solution would just be to buy new rings. I included a few links below that might help you track down the rings you need. There are countless places to pick up weaver rings, if your red dot will accept them.
