Will you read and comment on poem When Ruby Wears Read (full version B B's challenge) Thanks?
When Ruby Wears Red (a bit of fun inspired by BB)
When tip to toe in berry red,
young Ruby knocks the fellers dead.
Her dress at side, slashed up to thigh,
stiletto heels six inches high.
Blonde hair hangs free, it's styled in waves,
her hips are ready for the rave.
Lips are full, they pout and pucker,
oh! she's out to hook a sucker.
Long talons, scarlet, point and scratch,
she'll make some mug a saucy catch.
All eyes are fixed on shapely form,
like bees round honey-pot in swarm.
She picks a guy, to buy a drink
and into soft chair, swiftly sinks.
A lighter for her cigarette,
man on his knees, a faithful pet.
Further one, looks after coat.
Two more on sofa, sit and gloat
and all the while she's out to tease,
"it's only fun, it's never sleaze".
Midnight arrives, who'll escort her?
Each think, their attention's caught her.
Loud chimes are heard, it's twelve o'clock,
When Dad appears, they've fled in shock.
A vivid poem in rhyming couplets, rich in visual detail and perhaps more importantly humor; I like a lady who can write a poem like this...
