Do these enhancements improve the daily driving pleasure?
I recently planned a set of modifications to my partner’s Volvo C30. The following are the street-legal modifications that were completed.
First set of upgrades:
1. IPD Upgraded software and chip set (reversible to factory setting); resetting the standard software in her Volvo Electronic Control Module (ECM) to enhance the sensitivity to get a better throttle response, increased power and torque which results in faster acceleration.
2. IPD safety anti-sway bars
3. IPD Heavy Duty End Links
4. Performance Brake Kit - 320mm rotors, pads, calipers, anchor plates, brake lines, spring clips, and high performance brake fluid.
Second set of upgrades (Note: setup to fulfill the 95dB noise limit):
1. Evolve’s Turbo Intake Pipe (Note: It isn’t a complete air intake system, just the piping was changed).
2. Evolve’s Sport Exhaust System
3. Evolve’s 3" Downpipe
4. Bridgestone Potenza RE050A 215/45R18 tyres
Your partner is lucky to have such a wonderful person who wants to bring happiness. Yes, the driving pleasure will be enhanced, anyone who tells you otherwise is lying.
