Red dot scope on a Winchester 94?
Can anyone tell me who makes a base and ring set to mount a red dot scope on a winchester 94. Presently, I have see through rings screwed directly to the receiver, but I want to change to a red dot scope. My present rings allow for a 1" (25mm) scope, but not a larger 30mm scope, which seems to be the size of red dot scope bodies. Has any one tried this conversion??
B-Square makes a side mount for the model 94. It attaches to the holes that are on the left side of the rifle's receiver (most models). The mount has regular weaver style bases that should allow you to mount a red dot.
