help laser not zeroing in?

i got a laser (Model ls3 smk) for my air rifle which mounts on my 4x40 scope but the problem is that, no matter how much i adjust the screws to move the laser it is always stuck in that Corner it moves but it is still in that same area i have moved the laser round the scope and back and forward down the scope with no luck of it even being visible though the scopes sight
can anyone recommend anything also if it is a faulty item how good are smk for warrantys would they exchange hassle free

So many folks mount firearm optics on air rifles. That's a great way to wreck a scope. You must mount a scope that is designed specifically for air guns. I've removed the lasers from everything I own, as they were all a cheap POS, and I'll hold out for something from Crimson Trace or Night Vision Systems. Just need to amass some cash. By the way, and no offense intended, this is a hunting forum.
