Spotting Scope - NcSTAR quality?
i am considering getting a NcSTAR 20-60x60 Spotting Scope Green Lens With Tripod / Laser:

does anyone have experience with the quality of NcSTAR products? and what other suggestions would you have for the under $50 spotting scope.
I have looked those over and what a disappointment.......
Under $50?...... Seriously?...... New in the box -- Not going to happen.....
I will say this..... Get out to flea markets and house sales..... I ran across a pair of binoculars made in Poland that were old.... Some unknown brand from decades ago.... The guy that was selling them said he wanted $25..... I almost passed - but took a look thru them and was blown away with the superior optics these older glasses had..... I could see people working on a roof clearly 3 miles away...... I couldn't get the money out fast enough....... These binoculars easily had the optics of a $500 pair of Steiner's.....
So in short -- $50 will buy junk --- So if on a budget I say get out to house sales, estate sales and flea markets.... You will have to sort thru lots of junk, turds and broken stuff... But for me - in the last 2 years I have picked up excellent optics twice on the cheap.....
