What scope will fit my Savage Mark II-FV?
I found the scope I want, but I need the mount rings for it. I was told 1" low mount rings, but I'm not entirely sure.

pleeease help me. The gun comes with the base, but the scope doesn't come with the rings. So if anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You need medium height 1" rings, low rings with that scope will rest the bell of the scope on the barrel.
No offense to the below answers who are speculating or guessing, but I have your rifle, and that scope, and it really does need medium rings, if you buy low rings at the behest of the guessers below, your bell will in fact touch the barrel.People really should not answer these questions if they really do not know the answer. Now its up to you, you can go with the guessers below who do not own your rifle or scope, or you can do what an owner of your rifle and scope found out through trial and error and go with the correct rings, medium, not low.
