I need help with harbor Seals?
I'm doing my project on harbor seals and i dont know a few things. if you know any of these questions please answer me and tell me the website where you found it thnx!
1.Survival Rate (amount who grow up to adulthood)
2.Type of Fertilization- internal or external
3.Type of Animal- mammal, marsupial, etc.
A harbour seal is a mammal and since they are a mammal they give birth so the fertilization is internal meaning they are impregnated by the male and do not lay eggs.
Survival Rate of a Harbour seal to adult hood is good, however it has been threatened by oil spills, and Disease due to pollution as been quite great over the last 25 years.
