Mossberg 500 Persuader with Heatshield and Ghost Rings?
I have a Mossberg 500 Persuader (originally pistol grip configuration) 8 shot, with an oem heat shield. I've recently bought a mossberg ghost ring kit which I intend to install on the shotgun. My question is: if I install the ghost ring front sight, will this impair me from being able to remove the heat shield for cleaning/etc.

Personally, I think the "heat shield" was a PR gimmick to start with, so I wouldn't worry about it.
