Mossberg 500 tactical or Romanian AK-47?
ok well im about to buy another guy I currently have a DPMS AR-15 and I love it, also have a springfield 1911. However now I'm lookin into either an AK-47 or Mossberg can't decide which one I want currently. I love assault rifles but shotguns are so much cheaper to shoot what do you suggest? the Romanian ak is 600 bucks and the Mossberg 500 Tactical with 6pos. folding stock with 5 shot holder is 420 bucks.
wow, meant to put buy another gun somehow guy slipped in there, stupid auto correct.
also currently I have 450 cash on me, but lay-away is available and I could have the other 150 for the ak within 3 weeks.
Update: Found where I can have a Romanian AK-47 New with bayonet and 2 30rnd Mags for 500 shipped.

As for the AK I think I'd rather have one of these right now over the Romy. It's more compact and they're practically giving them away.

For a shotgun I really don't know about all that tactical stuff. I mean I don't see it as a advantage. A Remington 870 Synthetic Riot is all the shotgun you'll ever need and can be had for $315 to $350. 8 shots and proven reliability and you can put a pistol grip on it if need be. Mossberg's are great too but again I don't think you need the tactical model.
