How to attach ACOG to US Army paintball marker?
I am planning to get a US Army alpha black paintball marker. I am wondering is this is good for a beginner. Also, how can I attach gunsights to it? some sights ask for a weaver rail. Just what exactly is a weaver rail and how can i find it?
Its a good marker to start out with if you plan on playing rec or woods ball. It is just a tippmann 98 custom with a different body. Every upgrade that you can put on a 98 custom you can put on a alpha black. Weaver rail is what tippmanns have on them. Its just a small rail that has lil groves in it that you can clamp sights, handles, and other mods onto.
Really you dont need nor are sights of any use in paintball. Paintball markers are not accurate enough to make a sight of any use. Really all you need to do in paintball is look down the top of the marker to line up your shots, sights are just for looks not really any good for practical use. Also most of the time if your sight gets shot its not ruined and you have to throw it away because the paint ruins it or it broke.
