Are the widths of a single stack 1911 mag in .38super the same as a ss .45?
I want a basic ciener conversion kit in .22lr. It will fit .45cal 1911 A1 pistols, but will it fit my RIA .38super 1911A1? Also, with the slide being aluminum and all, are they durable?
It won't work. The magazine on the .38 Super is narrower. And the slide probably won't fit if it was designed for a .45, as the ejector on the .38 Super is a different shape. It won't line up correctly with the groove on the slide.
