Columbia Coat Snow Proof?
I recently bought a Columbia Girl's Nordic Babe Interchangeable Parka, and I'm not sure if it's warm enough for the winter. We get quite a bit of snow here (Canada) and I'm pretty sure it's good for snowboarding/skiing, but will is it warm enough for winter?
Since it's interchangeable it comes with a fleece, but I still always wear a sweater. So a fleece/sweater + fleece + coat = warm enough?
Thanks!
Absolutely. I have a Columbia interchange coat, and have yet to wear it with the liner - it's actually too warm for where I live (pacific northwest). For my bike commute, I've been wearing the coat with a tank top and medium-warmth hoodie (and it's been about 25 degrees F this week.) For just regular walking around, I've been wearing a sweater and the coat, no fleece. The fleece liner that comes with it is amazingly warm, really good quality. With a sweater and the fleece, you'll be downright toasty.
Also, you lose most of your heat from your head, so don't forget your cute fuzzy hat!
