Can I mount a scope on this gun without a scope mount? (M14)?

Will the scope work? I am not going to be a like sniper for a team, just woods/fields with brothers and friends. I want the scope for Better aiming and maybe for a little sniping if needed. If it doesn't work can you tell me what scope/scope mount/ scope rings I need? On evike.

well, i don't own the gun but most m14s need a scope mount to put a scope on the top.
i think that one does too, and i think, from looking at the picture, ths RIS system is perhaps a little too forward to mount it properly.
however your gun is a cheap crap, honestly, so i don't know if a standard scope mount would work/fit.
i don't think you even need a scope for this gun to be honest.
