Mossberg 500A Forend Help!?
I just need alittle bit of help here. I have a mossberg 500A. Nobody is really helping me. I cannot find a forend that will fit my gun I dont understand why. I have a wooden stock and forend on it right now. I called mossberg and they said I have a 6 3/4" forend tube on it. They also told me the reason is that The action slides on the tube are connected to the forend itself. But I can take the tube nut off and the forend comes right off without the slides. I just need help with any information about this. I dont want to buy something online and it doesnt fit, and have to return right away. Thank you

Go to ebay.com and search on "mossberg forearm". You'll find lots.
There's nothing wrong with your current wooden forearm that stops you from replacing it. Whatever you were told and whatever you thought you heard isn't true. If you have a wooden forearm, as you do, you have the proper slide action tube that will fit pretty much all the current aftermarket forearms out there. Take yours off....slide the new one on....takes two minutes.
