how do you find a doctor who will give you a straight answer?
i recently was in the hospital for pneumonia and was told i could possibly have lung cancer. i have 2 chest xrays, a chest cat scan, a breathing test, a scope test down my nose into the lungs (which the doctor said everything looked good but he could see a spot and if it is cancer he could take off the bottom part of my lung and get it all) which led to a pet scan of the entire body. It came back negative, but now he still wants a biopsy, thi does not make sense to me. he is now upset because i want a second opinion. any help would be appreciated. also i have yet to see any of my exrays or test results.
I STRONGLY suggest you seek for a second opinion. My dad had cancer and he did not seek for a second opinion because the doctor was a big ass and said he didn't need one. My dad is not alive anymore but had he known..i'm sure he would take the steps more carefully. esp if it involves surgery..good luck.
