This is the Walkera Dragonfly V200DQ01, I am considering this helicopter and I also am not considering it because people say Walkera is eye candy (flashy but poor quality) is that true?
Walkera has good helicopters, but when they talk about eye candy, be sure that those people have "enough" money to buy expensive brands like align trex helicopter which is a great helicopter, very stable and aerobatic but in this case, we're talking about a 4 channel helicopter. Brands are just names and different engineers who worked on a product to make it cheap and of a good quality.
Yes it is good, it is a flybarless helicopter, flybarless helicopter vs helicopters with flybar = flybarless wins because it's less drag + more response = more flying time + less crashes due to more response. 154 bucks is okay for it because it has a metal central hub and its a flybarless helicopter + a nice scale fuselage.
some people try to buy EXCELLENT stuff but at very high prices. for example, I was in a forum and people were talking you know, junk about a gyro that costs 12 dollars, hey, I have the same gyro, it works great and it costs 12 dollars, come on, those people were in rage, but that gyro cost 12 dollars, and they want that gyro to work like in a simulator.... finally they got the futaba 300 dollar gyro and they were happy lol...
