if i order a switchblade off the internet into canada would it get seezed by customs?

oh its coming from hong kong to nova scotia if that helps any, also will i get arrested if it gets seezed?
Those types of knives would be prohibited (since they are spring loaded) and would most likely be seized at customs.

In short, they're illegal. If you need a knife, buy one at a camping/hunting supply store. Note that you will not find these types of knives there. Why? Because they're illegal. Really... why do you need a knife concealed in a lighter unless it was to inflict harm on someone?
EDIT: What I am trying to say is "don't waste your money". You are wanting to import items that you can not legally buy in Canada. They will take the items and you will never see them. Besides, they look cheap too and not worth the money. If you need a knife, then you can LEGALLY buy one in a store in Canada. You won't find the types of knives that you want in the store, however, because they are ILLEGAL! Are you wanting them to impress your friends or hurt someone? Don't get caught with them.
