Which AK-47 is the better pick?
I plan on saving up for an AK before prices go up or they have some kind ban on them here the two I'm looking at
1) a Romanian AK47 refinished and a 30 round tactical mag for $550
or
2) Romanian WASR-10 with a tactical folding but stock and black plastic front grip with a 40 round magazine for $500
oh and theres also a new Izvehsk AK sportorized and a 10 round mag for about $540 something.
yea it will be incase they get banned but mostly for my military rifle collection.
It depends on what you want it for- if you just want a cool, fun to shoot, politically incorrect rifle it doesn't really matter- if you want it to collect as a representative "military" style rifle I'd go with the Romanian refinish as it looks more like a standard issue type rifle. if you want it to collect against the possibility of them being banned again and hoping for a price rise- forget the sporter. hope this helps.
