Looking for a tactical military/war-based anime?
Basically I'm trying to find an anime that is based on the more tactical side, something with a strong main character leading forces. I've seen Code Geass, its amazing. Full Metal Panic, and a few other mecha based ones. A show with exciting missions is a huge plus
I'd prefer a non-mecha if possible but if its really good, please suggest it.
try valkyria chronicles. its war-based but it also has super powers. But not in the beginning. I also recommend Gundam 00 which is better than any other gundam series on the 2000s. that's all I can think of because other animes seems to be lacking tactics or strategy scenes so that's probably the animes I've known that has one.
