Do you wear light or heavy boots when hunting?
Not sure you would consider Timberland's light, but they beat my old Redheads. They even "beat" my military boots, buy a lot in fact.
I'm about the only white guy in GA who wears Timberland's, but for the most part, everyone seems to know about Georgia boots or Wolverine boots.
Whenever I go into a sporting goods/hunting store, I see lots of hunters buying these 1000 grain thinsulate insulated boots, keep in mind around 40 degrees is the coldest it (usually) gets here.
So, is there some advantage of wearing 10 pound clodhoppers into a deer stand/blind that I haven't come across?
Rubber swamp boots are understandable, but I'm referring to these.

Oh yes, in GA, for it to be a "hunting boot", it must have at least 400 grams of insulation.
I wear work boots, always.
um extra protection against snakebites????....LOL
seriously tho most ppl think thicker boots will keep their feet warmer......what usually happens is thicker boots cause their feet to sweat and then they actually get colder.....not to mention stink after the first trip in them
