How to T/C muzzle-loader RENEGADE scope sight in?
I have a Thompson Center .54 Cal Renegade style percussion muzzle-loader with a shot-gun scope fixed objectives. how would i sight this in. this fire are is a 1974 so no breach plug.
i need the scope sited in, any ideas would be grate
are there any types of bore sights fir this type of firearm
I would mount the base on the gun if required and make sure all of the screws are tight. Then mount the rings and make sure the screws are tight. Make sure the rings are aligned. Then mount the scope and make sure that the screws are tight. Then I would shoot at 25 yds and figure out how much you need to adjust the wind age and elevation so that the cross hairs would line up with where the bullet is hitting. Then shoot another time and verify that it is close. Move the target to 50 yds and repeat. Then go to 100 yds and repeat. Then move to what ever distance you want to sight it in at and shoot a group, adjust the sight, and then shoot another group to make sure that you are where you want to be.
