hunters who use see-thru scope rings?
have you had these installed on a gun just to find out you never really use your iron site? I was just wondering because I have had them installed on just about every rifle I owned but can honestly say after I install them I never use my iron sites and rely just on my scope. do you notice this at all?
The purpose of the see through mounts were simply for close in shots and fogged over scopes and a fast quick close up kill on dangerous game in an awkward situation. The down fall to these mounts are you'll have to raise your cheek from the cheek rest on your gun or the STOCK if you will and they are more subsetable to the scope being knocked off zero due to the hieght difference.
